We're Hiring: Primary Receptionist & PA to EP
About the Role
The British International School of Tunis is seeking a proactive, personable, and highly organised individual to join our Administration team as PA to the Executive Principal & Primary Receptionist. This role is central to creating a positive first impression for every visitor and upholding the reputation of our school, while providing dedicated administrative support to the Executive Principal and ensuring smooth communication between staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk & Visitor Management — Welcome parents, visitors, and guests, and maintain a tidy, professional office environment.
- Parent & Pupil Support — Respond promptly to parent enquiries, support communication between teachers and families, and handle first-level complaints.
- Attendance & Pupil Records — Monitor daily attendance, follow up on lateness and absences, and produce regular reports for the Executive Principal.
- Uniform Management — Oversee uniform sales, stock, and inventory in coordination with Finance.
- Executive Principal Support (PA Role) — Provide administrative assistance including note-taking, filing, presentations, and translations.
- Events & Enrichment — Support school events and lead on enrichment coordination.
- Finance & Cash Handling — Manage daily cash reconciliation at the front desk.
- Administration & Documentation — Maintain compliant, well-organised records and inventories.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience in customer service or sales
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Trilingual
- Good organisational, multi-tasking, and prioritisation skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with standard office equipment
